SOUTHERN AFRICA
Desert, delta, and everything between
Southern Africa is wilder, more remote, and more demanding of stillness. We’ve spent years learning its rhythms – and we bring the same standard here that we built at home.
A region of immense scale and contrast
Where the Okavango floods in slow silence, the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic in fog and rust, and the Luangwa Valley holds one of Africa’s last great wildernesses, largely unchanged.
Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia each pull in a different direction — and all of them are worth following. Whether you come with a single ambition or none at all, Southern Africa tends to exceed it.
Botswana
The Okavango Delta floods into the heart of the Kalahari each year — an improbable inland oasis that draws elephant in extraordinary numbers and predators with room to move. Botswana offers vast private concessions, low tourist volumes, and some of the most carefully managed wilderness on the continent.
The continent's most exclusive safari model.

Zambia
Zambia pioneered the walking safari, and has never strayed from its roots. The South Luangwa Valley is deep bush, remote and unhurried. Victoria Falls announces itself long before you see it. Two very different experiences, both worth building a journey around.

Hwange's elephant herds are among the largest on the continent. Mana Pools, flat and floodplain-wide, is where predators and prey play out something ancient along the Zambezi. Among those who know Africa well, Zimbabwe is frequently a favourite.

South Africa
The Cape's mountains meet two oceans. The Kruger stretches across the northeast, one of the continent's great game reserves. Between them, winelands, coastline, and a city in Cape Town that holds its own against anywhere in the world. It is, in many ways, the easiest entry point into Africa, and one of the most rewarding.
Exceptional combination of safari, food, wine and coast.
